I came via Liz's. Interesting facets on the Spanish language indeed. I have heard Ladino spoken many a time and found it quite okay to follow what was said after a while. Also, been in Gibraltar and it is an interesting way how they use words and the languages of English and Spanish. In case if you wonder if I am fluent in Spanish - the answer is No! But I have an avid 'ear' for languages and it is very easy for me to learn new languages, normally, I may add. Will have a look at more of the stuff here in your excellent page. Maybe they spoke that! I'd love to hear what it sounds like -- and Llatino, too.
