Do you like the new look?

by David

An English version of the following is after the jump.

I’ve been hard at work for the last few weeks putting the finishing touches on this new design you see around here. It’s been hard work, but it’s worth it because I really think it looks sharp. Of course, a few things still need to be done, and hopefully I haven’t broken anything important. But hey- enough about me- what do you think of it? Is it an OK design?

I think the site has come a long way since I first started it back in 2003. Here’s a screenshot from 2004 for all you history fanatics out there.

If you have any comments or even more importantly, if you see anything that’s broken or not working right, please do let me know in the comments below or via email.

Yes, I do like the new design it’s not as bland as the old one.

Well, I did not consider the former design “bland”, with all due respect to Jaqui. I, do, however, like the more dynamic current design. ¡Bien Hechol, D!

Gracias por los comentarios, sigo terminando de arreglar algunos detallitos del diseño en varias partes del sitio, pero son cosas que casi no se notan.

Matt, the Butt and Benjamin grammar book is the one that is recommended by my colleagues and me the most often. It is called, A New Refrerence Grammar of Modern Spanish You can purchase it on amazon.com.

I love the site in general. However, my conjugate button isn’t working!?

Unfortunately, the verb conjugation doesn’t work at the moment.
Thanks.

Thanks for pointing out the verb conjugation, I will fix that as soon as I get a chance, which will hopefully be tomorrow morning. Thanks for your patience through this.

Old layout, new layout. This is the best new site that I have found in the last year. I like the new layout, but the most important thing for me is functionality. I have never found an online dictionary that is *this* useful. Thanks!!!!

And it is also nice to have the ability to post comments, so I can express my gratitude.

The site is great, but the Spanish verb conjugation still doesn’t work. To me, this is one of the best features you have here. Please see if you can fix it. Best,
RZ

Thanks for the comments RZ. I’ve tried to make time to fix the verb conjugations, but without much luck. I promise to make time for it today. :)
